Description

Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (TNF-α) is the most well-known member of the TNF family and can induce cell death. As a pleiotropic pro-inflammatory cytokine, TNF-α is secreted by various cell types, including adipocytes, activated monocytes, macrophages, B cells, T cells, and fibroblasts. Belonging to the TNF ligand family, it signals through two receptors, TNFR1 and TNFR2. TNF-α exhibits cytotoxicity against a variety of tumor cells and serves as a crucial mediator in the immune response against bacterial infections. Additionally, TNF-α plays a role in the induction of septic shock, autoimmune diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammation, and diabetes. Possessing a broad spectrum of biological activities, TNF-α not only plays a central role in inflammation but also regulates apoptosis, cell proliferation, and differentiation.

Recombinant Human TNF-α is a 17.5 kDa recombinant protein containing 157 amino acid residues. Expressed in E. coli, this product is supplied as a lyophilized powder and is characterized by high activity, high purity, low endotoxin levels, and high stability.

Application

T Cell Expansion & Maintenance: Promotes T cell proliferation via NF-κB signaling and prevents functional exhaustion. Enhances transduction efficiency and supports healthy expansion in TCR-T therapies.

Dendritic Cell Maturation: Drives the differentiation of monocytes into mature dendritic cells (mDCs).

Immune Cell Activation: Enhances the anti-tumor cytotoxicity of CIK cells, NK cells, and macrophages during ex vivo expansion.

Features

High Purity: >95% purity to avoid immune responses caused by residual Host Cell Proteins (HCP) or DNA.

Ultra-Low Endotoxin: <10 EU/mg to minimize the risk of fever or inflammation.

Batch-to-Batch Consistency: Ensures stability and reproducibility in cell culture applications.

Regulatory Compliance: Meets regulatory requirements for cell therapy products and supports Investigational New Drug (IND) applications.

Animal-Origin Free (AOF): Free from animal viruses, pathogens, and exogenous factor contamination, ensuring maximum safety.
