Description
Flt-3 Ligand (Fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand, FLT3L) is a key cytokine supporting the proliferation, survival, and maintenance of early hematopoietic progenitor cells and dendritic cells. In HSC expansion systems, FLT3L promotes the self-renewal and output of multipotent progenitor cells. In iPSC-to-HSC differentiation protocols, it acts during the early hematopoietic specification stage, supporting the emergence of hemogenic endothelial cells and the subsequent formation of hematopoietic progenitor cells.
