Description
RNase Inhibitor is a specific ribonuclease (RNase) inhibitor originally found in the human placenta. It inactivates RNases by forming a non-covalent complex with them, thereby rendering the RNases inactive.
This product is a recombinant murine RNase inhibitor expressed and purified in soluble form from E. coli. It effectively inhibits various types of RNases (including RNase A, B, and C). Validated by RT-PCR and RT-qPCR, this product is compatible with HifairTM V Reverse Transcriptase (Cat. No.: 11300ES) and various DNA Polymerases. Compared to human-derived RNase inhibitors, this product lacks two cysteine residues that are highly sensitive to oxidation in the human protein, conferring superior antioxidant activity. Consequently, it is particularly well-suited for experiments highly sensitive to DTT, such as qPCR.
This product is suitable for applications including first-strand cDNA synthesis, polysome isolation, in vitro transcription, and cell-free translation systems.
Free of glycerol, this product is ideal for the formulation of lyophilized reagents.

Storage
This product should be stored at 2~8℃ for 6 months.
Activity Definition
One unit (U) is defined as the amount of enzyme required to inhibit 50% of the activity of 5 ng of RNase A. RNase A activity is quantified by measuring the hydrolysis of cyclic 2’,3’-CMP to generate 3’-CMP.
Notes
1. This product is for research use only.
2. Please operate with lab coats and disposable gloves,for your safety.
3. This product inhibits RNase activity over a broad pH range, exhibiting maximum activity at pH 7–8.
4. Avoid foaming or vigorous operations such as stirring or vortexing to prevent inactivation of the product.
5. This product does not inhibit RNase H activity.
Instructions
1. Prepare the following mixture in an RNase-free centrifuge tube.

2. Mix gently.
3. Incubate at 42°C for 15–30 min, followed by 85°C for 5 min.
4. Store the product at -20°C.
