The Human Naïve T Cell Expansion Cytokine Set contains recombinant human IL-2, recombinant human IL-7, and recombinant human IL-15. These three cytokines are essential key growth factors for the culture of Naïve T cells. This combination minimizes the generation of terminally differentiated effector T cells and exhausted T cells, and the expanded cells possess stronger self-renewal capabilities and in vivo persistence.
IL-2 is a potent T cell growth factor that drives clonal expansion. On the basis of IL-7/IL-15, it provides additional proliferation signals.
IL-7 is a survival factor, and its main function is to maintain T cell basal metabolism and survival. It is crucial for Naïve T cells and T memory stem cells. It can drive homeostatic proliferation and help maintain the Naïve/T memory stem cell phenotypes such as CD45RA, CCR7, and CD62L.
IL-15 mainly functions to promote slow, homeostatic proliferation and promotes basal proliferation without driving terminal differentiation. It enhances CD8⁺ T cell persistence.
IL-7+IL-15: Mimics homeostatic "tonic" signals, maintains cell viability, promotes slow and steady division, and maintains the naïve phenotype. Low-dose IL-2: Provides stronger proliferation signals upon activation (via TCR/CD3/CD28), and the low dose can reduce cell differentiation.

Before opening, centrifuge first to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute with sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL; further dilution can be performed according to subsequent experiments. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add carrier protein (0.1% BSA) to the dilution buffer; aliquot into single-use amounts, store frozen at -80°C, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
