Beskrivelse
Interleukin-34 (IL-34) is a cytokine with a molecular weight of 23.98 kDa, consisting of 216 amino acid residues. IL-34 is a ligand for the colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF-1R) and is primarily secreted by the adrenal glands, frontal lobe, and cortex. It plays a crucial role in the proliferation, survival, differentiation, and migration of myeloid cells. These functions are mediated by IL-34 activating the ERK1/2, JAK, and PI3K/AKT signaling pathways.

Measure by its ability to induce human peripheral blood monocytes (PBMCs) proliferation. The ED₅₀ for this effect is <30 pg/mL. |

Reconstitution Instructions |
Briefly centrifuge the vial at 3000 rpm for 5 minutes before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized powder with sterile water to a concentration of no less than 100 μg/mL, and let it stand for at least 20 minutes to ensure complete dissolution. The reconstituted solution can be further diluted and aliquoted. When performing further dilution and aliquoting, a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 10% FBS, or 5% HSA) must be added. For serum-free experimental requirements, a 5% trehalose solution can be used as an alternative carrier. |
Storage
Store at -25 to -15°C. Valid for 1 year from receipt. After reconstitution, store at 2 to 8°C for up to 7 days, or at -85 to -65°C for up to 3 months. To avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, we recommend aliquoting the protein upon first use.
