Beskrivelse
The predicted molecular weight of Interleukin-28A (IL-28A) is 22.3 kDa. There are two isoforms of IL-28: IL-28A and IL-28B, which play a role in antiviral immune defense. This includes inducing an "antiviral state" by activating Mx proteins, 2',5'-oligoadenylate synthetase, and ISGF3G.

Measure by its ability to protect HepG2 cells infected with encephalomyocarditis (EMC) virus. The ED₅₀ for this effect is <2 ng/mL. |

Reconstitution Instructions |
Briefly centrifuge the vial at 3000 rpm for 5 minutes before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized powder with sterile water to a concentration of no less than 100 μg/mL, and let it stand for at least 20 minutes to ensure complete dissolution. The reconstituted solution can be further diluted and aliquoted. When performing further dilution and aliquoting, a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 10% FBS, or 5% HSA) must be added. For serum-free experimental requirements, a 5% trehalose solution can be used as an alternative carrier. |
Storage
Store at -25 to -15°C. Valid for 1 year from receipt. After reconstitution, store at 2 to 8°C for up to 7 days, or at -85 to -65°C for up to 3 months. To avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, we recommend aliquoting the protein upon first use.
