Beskrivelse
Interleukin-12 (IL-12) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine with a molecular weight of 70 kDa, composed of two subunits: IL-12p35 (35 kDa) and IL-12p40 (40 kDa). IL-12p40 is induced to a greater extent than other subunits of IL-12 and IL-23, and can exist as a monomer or a homodimer.

Biological activity |
Measure by its ability to induce cell proliferation in PHA-activated human peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBMC) using a concentration range of 5-50 ng/mL. Note: Results may vary from different PBMC donors. |

Reconstitution Instructions |
1. Briefly centrifuge the vial at 3000 rpm for 5 minutes before opening. 2. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized powder with sterile water to a concentration of no less than 100 μg/mL, and let it stand for at least 20 minutes to ensure complete dissolution. 3. The reconstituted solution can be further diluted and aliquoted. When performing further dilution and aliquoting, a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 10% FBS, or 5% HSA) must be added. For serum-free experimental requirements, a 5% trehalose solution can be used as an alternative carrier. |
Storage
Store at -25 to -15°C. Valid for 1 year from receipt. After reconstitution, store at 2 to 8°C for up to 7 days, or at -85 to -65°C for up to 3 months. To avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, we recommend aliquoting the protein upon first use.
