Proteins in pre-stained markers are covalently coupled with dyes, allowing direct visual observation during electrophoresis or transfer membrane processes. This enables the monitoring of the entire electrophoresis process, assessment of transfer efficiency, and reliable positioning of target proteins. Therefore, choosing the correct protein marker is one of the necessary conditions for the success of experiments such as Western blot.
Yeasen Biotech's Tri-color Pre-stained Protein Marker: Made from highly purified and pre-stained recombinant proteins, calibrated with standard non-pre-stained protein molecular weight markers. It allows dynamic observation of protein electrophoresis status and transfer membrane effects. After SDS-PAGE electrophoresis and transfer to PVDF or NC membranes, clear colored bands can be seen. Yeasen's protein markers now cover proteins from 2.7 to 300 kDa, meeting the needs of the vast majority of experiments.
Product Features
Broad Detection Range—Wide range of 3 types (8-180, 10-180, 10-245 kDa), large molecular (25-300 kDa), and small molecular (2.7-40 kDa)
Vivid Colors—Tri-color pre-stained, with an average concentration of 2.5 μg per band
Low Sample Volume—Wide range and small molecule markers only require 3-5 μL, large molecule markers recommend 5-10 μL
Stable Performance—No degradation after 20 hours at 50°C.
Long Shelf Life—Can be stored for 2 years at -20°C.
Data Presentation
Figure 1. Under different sample volumes, both gel running and transfer images are clearly visible
Figure 2. Under the same sample volume, the color is brighter than imported competitors.
Figure 3. Protein Marker (20350) shows stable results between different batches.
No degradation after 20 hours at 50°C.
Product Use Tips
Thaw the protein marker (20350, 20352, 20347, 20344) at room temperature, completely dissolve and gently mix well, do not boil;
Use imported or sterilized consumables to take 3-5 μL or 5-10 μL of this product for polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. If you want to obtain better images and have the conditions in the laboratory, you can determine the appropriate sample volume through pre-experiments according to your own experimental conditions and habits;
Frequently used colored pre-stained protein markers can be stored at 4°C with a validity period of 3 months. It is recommended to aliquot and store to avoid repeated freezing and thawing!
After the pre-stained protein is combined with the dye, it will migrate in different buffer systems. This product is for reference only when used to determine the molecular weight of the target protein.
