Molecular Weight

The mature form of HGF R is a heterodimer which can be cleaved into α and β chain. The protein has a predicted MW of 32.1 kDa (α chain) and 69.8 kDa (β chain). Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 40-50 kDa (α subunit) and 78-98 kDa (β subunit) based on SDS-PAGE result.

Reconstitution Method

Before opening, centrifuge briefly. Reconstitute the lyophilized protein with distilled water to a concentration exceeding 100 μg/mL. Aliquot after initial reconstitution to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
