The interleukin 17 (IL-17) family of proteins are immunomodulatory cytokines.IL-17E, also known as IL-25, promotes a Th2-favored immune response. This is in contrast to other IL-17 family members, which promote Th1- and Th17-favored inflammation.IL-25 is an important mediator of allergic reactions and protection against intestinal parasites. Mature mouse IL-25 shares 80% and 91% amino acid sequence identity with human and rat IL-25, respectively. IL-25 acts on a variety of cell types that respond with increased production of Th2 cytokines (e.g., IL-4, IL-5, IL-13) and Th1 and Th17 cytokines (e.g., IFN-γ, IL-12, IL-23, IL-17A, IL-17A, and Th17). 23, IL-17A, IL-17F) production is decreased.

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing, centrifuge before opening the vial. It is recommended to aliquot for one experimental use, after aliquoting, freeze at -80℃.
