Mouse Serum Albumin is a globulin found in mouse serum and is one of its main components. Serum albumin primarily functions to maintain osmotic pressure, buffer pH, act as a carrier, and provide nutritional support. In serum-free animal cell culture, the addition of albumin offers physiological and mechanical protection as well as carrier functions.
