Descripción
Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor 165 (VEGF165) is a potent growth and angiogenic cytokine that stimulates endothelial cell proliferation and survival, promoting angiogenesis and vascular permeability. VEGF is expressed in vascularized tissues and plays an important role in both physiological and pathological angiogenesis. In stem cell differentiation, VEGF is a commonly supplemented growth factor used to direct the differentiation of pluripotent stem cells into hematopoietic progenitor cells. The VEGF family comprises multiple isoforms, among which VEGF165 is an isoform of VEGF-A and one of the most extensively studied.
