YeaRed is a unique oily macromolecule that can't penetrate cell membranes into cells. It is not easy to be volatile and sublimation and the human body will not inhale. The Ames test results also showed that YeaRed is completely mutagenic at gel staining concentration and is a safe and non-toxic nucleic acid dye. YeaRed has the same spectral characteristics as EB, and there is no need to change the filter and observation device (ordinary UV gel transilluminator), and the UV light excitation detection at 300 nm is sufficient. YeaRed is suitable for dsDNA, ssDNA, and RNA staining in agarose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, and can be stained by glue dyeing method or bubble dyeing method, which is very convenient and flexible to use.

Q: Are there any differences between YeaRed in DMSO solution and in water solution?

A: The 10202ES water-soluble version is a completely new improvement. Since DMSO can be absorbed by the skin, it is recommended that the dye be dissolved in water to avoid potential hazards associated with handling DMSO. In the agarose gel electrophoresis experiment, the two solvents performed equally well. For other applications, customers can choose based on their needs.

In such cases, it is recommended to reduce the sample loading amount and dilute the marker.

Q: Which downstream experiments are suitable for YeaRed nucleic acid dye?

A: Compatible with the recycling of gel, as well as downstream experiments such as cloning and sequencing.

Q: Can it be stored at -20℃? What should be done if it is accidentally placed at -20℃?

A; It cannot be stored at -20℃. Doing so may cause the dyes to freeze and form precipitates. If it is accidentally placed at -20℃ for a short period of time, you can try to thaw it, then heat it at around 35℃ for 1-2 minutes, and use it after that. Do not repeatedly freeze and thaw it afterwards.
