Designed for STR genotyping, this antibody-mediated hot-start enzyme combines Hieff UNICON™ Taq Antibody with Hieff™ Taq DNA Polymerase. The antibody keeps polymerase activity blocked even after 30 minutes at 50℃ and is fully inactivated within 30 seconds at the initial denaturation temperature, releasing active polymerase. This helps minimize amplification caused by nonspecific primer annealing. The thermostable recombinant polymerase has high template affinity, making it well suited to low-copy-number targets. Formulation additives further improve blocking efficiency and room-temperature stability.

Application Examples
1. Amplification Performance
A positive control from a forensic testing kit was amplified using YEASEN Taq polymerase 14226 and comparable commercial enzymes. Under the conditions tested, 14226 produced higher overall peak heights, indicating stronger detection performance.

2. Specificity
No-template controls (NTCs) were tested using YEASEN Taq polymerase 14226 and two comparable commercial enzymes. The 14226 reactions showed no nonspecific peaks, while both comparator enzymes produced nonspecific peaks to varying degrees, demonstrating higher specificity under the conditions tested.
