Description
This kit contains Recombinant Human IL-2, Human IL-12, and Human IL-15. It is designed for the isolation, activation, and expansion of human Natural Killer (NK) cells from healthy human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs).
IL-2: A T-cell growth factor that also effectively promotes NK cell proliferation and activation. It enhances NK cell cytotoxicity (perforin and granzyme expression); however, prolonged exposure to high concentrations of IL-2 may lead to activation-induced cell death and the expansion of Treg cells.
IL-15: The natural survival and homeostatic factor for NK cells. In in vitro culture, it plays a key role in maintaining basal NK cell survival, preventing apoptosis, and sustaining proliferation.
IL-12: A potent pro-inflammatory cytokine. It strongly induces IFN-γ production in NK cells and promotes the formation of "memory-like" or "adaptive" NK cells.

Storage: Store at -25°C to -15°C. Valid for 1 year from the date of receipt.
After Reconstitution: Store at -85°C to -65°C under sterile conditions. Valid for 3 months.

Centrifuge the vial prior to opening to collect contents at the bottom. Reconstitute with sterile deionized water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. For subsequent experiments, further dilutions can be made. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA) to the dilution buffer. Aliquot into single-use volumes, store at -80°C, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
