Description
IL-10 is an anti-inflammatory cytokine. IL-10 is produced primarily by monocytes, but also secreted by T cells, macrophages, mast cells, and other cell lines. IL-10 can inhibit the secretion of cytokines such as IFN-γ, IL-2, IL-3, TNF and GM-CSF, which plays an important role in the fight against human transitional immunity. In addition, IL-10 may play a role in the clinical inhibition of organ transplantation rejection due to its immunosuppressive properties.
