Description
Interleukin-2 (IL-2) is a potent immunomodulatory lymphocyte cytokine produced by T cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation. It is expressed by CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, γδ T cells, B cells, dendritic cells, and eosinophils. IL-2/IL-2R signaling is essential for T cell proliferation and other immune responses. The IL-2 receptor is composed of three subunits (55 kDa IL-2Rα, 75 kDa IL-2Rβ, and the 64 kDa common gamma chain γc/IL-2Rγ), which exist on the cell surface as distinct preformed complexes.
This recombinant mouse IL-2 contains 149 amino acid residues and is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It features high activity, high purity, and low endotoxin levels.

Storage
This product should be stored at -25~-15℃ for 1 year. Once reconstituted under sterile conditions, it can be stored at 2 ~ 8°C for 7 days, or at -85 to -65°C for 3 months.
Reconstitution Instructions
Centrifuge the vial briefly before opening to pellet the contents at the bottom. Reconstitute with sterile deionized water to a final concentration of 0.1–1.0 mg/mL. Further dilution can be performed as needed for downstream applications. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein (e.g., 0.1% BSA) to the dilution buffer. Aliquot the solution into single-use portions and store at -80°C to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
