Beschrijving
Interleukin-31 (IL-31) is a cytokine with a molecular weight of 15.65 kDa, consisting of 141 amino acid residues. Primarily secreted by Th2 cells, IL-31 binds to a receptor known as IL-31RA. Upon binding to IL-31RA, it activates multiple signaling pathways, including the MAPK, PI3K/AKT, and JAK/STAT pathways. It plays a crucial role in regulating various biological functions, such as cell proliferation, hematopoiesis, cytokine induction, inflammation, and immune responses. Additionally, it responds to antigens by promoting cell-mediated immunity.

Reconstitution Instructions |
Briefly centrifuge the vial at 3000 rpm for 5 minutes before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized powder with sterile water to a concentration of no less than 100 μg/mL, and let it stand for at least 20 minutes to ensure complete dissolution. The reconstituted solution can be further diluted and aliquoted. When performing further dilution and aliquoting, a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 10% FBS, or 5% HSA) must be added. For serum-free experimental requirements, a 5% trehalose solution can be used as an alternative carrier. |
Storage
Store at -25 to -15°C. Valid for 1 year from receipt. After reconstitution, store at 2 to 8°C for up to 7 days, or at -85 to -65°C for up to 3 months. To avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, we recommend aliquoting the protein upon first use.
