Hieff NGS™ Dual UMI UDI Adapter Kit for Illumina is designed for library preparation on the Illumina high-throughput sequencing platform. It adopts a dual-end adapter solution, comprising the Illumina UMI Adapter (short adapter) used in next-generation sequencing library construction and a matching UDI Primer. After adapter ligation, an 8 bp Unique Molecular Identifier (UMI) is added to each end of the insert DNA, enabling detection of low-frequency mutations, effectively reducing index hopping and mismatches, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of analytical results.
The kit is divided into 2 sets, each containing 48 dual-end unique index primers. When used in combination with DNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina, it enables the construction of 96 dual-end uniquely indexed libraries. All reagents provided in the kit undergo rigorous quality control and functional validation, ensuring the stability and reproducibility of library construction to the greatest extent.

Notes
1. The concentration of UMI Adapter in this kit is 15 μM. The amount of adapter used per library construction should be adjusted according to the kit used.
2. The UMI Adapter provided in this kit is a universal short adapter with dual-end molecular tags, which requires PCR amplification to obtain the complete library. The UDI Primer provides the index sequence tags for sample identification during high-throughput sequencing. The concentration of UDI Primer in this kit is 12.5 μM.
3. This kit is available in two specifications, each providing 48 types of UDI Primer, enabling the construction of up to 96 dual-end uniquely indexed libraries.
4. Do not heat the adapters. Allow them to dissolve slowly at room temperature. The laboratory temperature should preferably be set to 20-25°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the adapters. Aliquot storage is recommended. The adapters can be temporarily stored at 4°C.
