Mussel adhesive protein is a complex of proteins secreted by the mussel foot gland. It cures in seawater to form protein fibers with high strength, high toughness, and water resistance, making it an ideal material for developing underwater coatings, medical adhesives, and wound repair applications.
This product is produced through the fermentation and purification of genetically engineered mussel adhesive protein genes in yeast. The key DOPA moiety is the core functional factor of this protein, and only mussel adhesive proteins containing DOPA moieties possess true value. Currently, DOPA moieties are rarely detected in most recombinant mussel adhesive proteins and mussel-like adhesive proteins. In contrast, this product can be clearly confirmed to contain DOPA, and it exhibits high protein content and purity.

Storage
