Beschreibung
Glypican 1, also known as GPC1, is a cell surface heparan sulfate proteoglycan that plays a crucial role in cell growth and development. It is a member of the glypican family, which are glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored proteins found on the cell surface.

Source |
Recombinant Human Glypican 1/GPC1 Protein is expressed from HEK293 Cells with His tag at the C-terminal. It contains Asp24-Ser530. |
|
Molecular Weight |
The protein has a predicted MW of 57.17 kDa. And it migrates as 60-72 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation. |
|
Purity |
> 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. |
|
Biological Activity |
Human FGF-2 immobilized on CM5 chip can bind human GPC1, His tag, with an affinity constant of 5.83 × 10-9 M as determined in a SPR assay (Biacore 8K). |
|
Endotoxin |
< 1 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method. |
|
Formulation |
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered concentrated solution in PBS. |
|
Reconstitution |
Centrifuge tubes before opening. Dissolve lyophilized protein with PBS. Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities when first used and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
