This product is a high-performance cationic polymer–based transfection reagent, designed for efficient plasmid DNA transfection in a wide range of adherent and suspension cell types. The reagent can significantly increase AAV and other viral vector yields while effectively improving viral particle integrity.

HEK 293T and MCF-7 cells were transfected with a GFP-expressing plasmid using Hieff Trans™ PEI. Strong green fluorescence indicates efficient DNA delivery and expression 24–48 h post-transfection.

For AAV2 production, HEK 293 cells were transfected with Hieff Trans™ PEI at an optimized DNA-to-reagent ratio of 1 µg : 2 µL in a 1 L flask, yielding approximately 1.8 × 10¹¹ vg/mL.

For AAV5 production, suspension HEK 293F cells were transfected at DNA-to-reagent ratios ranging from 1 µg : 1 µL to 1 µg : 3 µL, achieving virus particle yield, vector genome titer, and VG/VP ratios comparable to brand P*.
