Description

mCherry, also known as Cherry Fluorescent Protein, DsRed, or simply Red Fluorescent Protein, is a widely used red fluorescent marker protein. It is commonly employed for molecular labeling and subcellular localization studies. mCherry is a monomeric red fluorescent protein originally derived from Discosoma sp. (mushroom coral). Compared to other monomeric fluorescent proteins, mCherry offers superior brightness, color properties, and photostability, making it an ideal choice for fluorescence imaging applications. Its maximum excitation and emission wavelengths are 587 nm and 610 nm, respectively.

This product is a 5'-capped, 3'-polyadenylated mRNA that mimics the structure of fully processed mature mRNA in eukaryotes.
