Description
Bovine serum albumin (BSA), also known as bovine albumin or Cohn Fraction V, is abbreviated as BSA. Adding BSA to the PCR reaction system reduces the number of templates adhering to the tube walls, allowing more templates to participate in amplification. BSA can reduce the formation of primer dimers and promote amplification. The final concentration of BSA in the PCR reaction is 0.01 μg/μl to 0.4 μg/μl.
