Description

The HieffTM Magnetic Blood DNA Kit provides fast and easy methods for purification of total DNA from blood samples. This product is based on the purification method of high binding magnetic particles. After adding magnetic particles and binding solution, DNA will be adsorbed on the surface of magnetic particles, and impurities such as proteins will be removed without adsorption. The genomic DNA is suitable for various  experiments, such as enzyme digestion, PCR,qPCR, etc.

300 μL of fresh blood in EDTA storage tubes was extracted simultaneously using the kits of 18504 and supplier M*, with a 96-channel nucleic acid extractor and 70 μL elution.

The results showed that the extraction rate of blood gDNA by 18504 was higher than that of supplier M*.

Test reagent: 18504ES and supplier K* ; elution volume: 70 μL.

Test scheme: AP-96 fully automated nucleic acid extractor; nanodrop detects DNA concentration and purity. 10 μL of each eluate was analyzed by qPCR using the HEK293 Residual DNA Detection Kit (Cat#41302).

Test results: 18504 showed brighter bands, higher purity, and lower average Ct values compared to the competitor
