Description
Exo-Resistant Random primer is a mixture of single-stranded random oligonucleotides. It can be used in random priming of various DNA synthesis reactions. The primer in this prodcut has 3´-terminal phosphorothioate (PTO) modification which is resistant to the 3´—> 5´ exonuclease activity of proofreading DNA polymerases
Features
• 3'-terminal PTO modifications protect from 3'→5' exonuclease degradation and ensure efficient priming of DNA synthesis
• Product delivered in a ready-to-use format
Applications
• Strand displacement amplification of genomic DNA, plasmids, and phage DNA
• DNA labeling by random priming
