Description
BsaI is a Type IIs restriction endonuclease that recognizes non-palindromic sequences and cleaves outside of the recognition site. It is commonly used in Golden Gate assembly, digestion of plasmids to prepare linearized DNA fragments with poly(A/T/G/C) ends, and obtaining specific sticky ends.
