Description

Lyticase is a specialized enzyme preparation for hydrolyzing yeast cell walls, widely used in downstream applications such as genome research, yeast artificial chromosome (YAC) extraction, yeast transformation, protoplast preparation, yeast cell disruption, industrial fermentation, and yeast inactivation.

This product is supplied in liquid form at a concentration of 10 U/μL, with a typical working concentration of 0.15 U/μL. The optimal concentration should be adjusted according to your specific application, yeast strain, and cell density. For genomic DNA or plasmid DNA extraction, please follow the recommended concentration in the corresponding kit protocol.
