The kit delivers efficient rRNA removal from both intact and partially degraded total RNA. The rRNA-depleted RNA is suitable for downstream applications including high-throughput sequencing of mRNA and non-coding RNA—which markedly increases the proportion of informative reads—as well as cDNA synthesis and other downstream uses.
