Description

Restriction endonuclease Not I is derived from the recombinant expression of the NotIR gene in Nocardia otitidis-caviarum. This enzyme has the activity to recognize the cleavage site 5'-GC↓GGCCGC-3', specifically cleaving double-stranded DNA to produce sticky ends. It is commonly used for single and double digestions. This product belongs to the fast-digest enzyme series and can rapidly complete the digestion of substrates such as plasmid DNA, PCR products, and genomic DNA within 15 minutes.
