Tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) is a pleiotropic pro-inflammatory cytokine secreted by various cell types, including adipocytes, activated monocytes, macrophages, B cells, T cells, and fibroblasts. It belongs to the TNF ligand family and signals through two receptors, TNFR1 and TNFR2. TNF-α exhibits cytotoxicity against various tumor cells and is a key mediator of the immune response against bacterial infections. TNF-α is also involved in the induction of inflammatory responses, regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis.

Reconstitution |

Further dilutions may be prepared for subsequent experiments; for long-term storage, adding a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is recommended. |

Storage
Store at -25~-15°C. Valid for 1 year upon receipt. After reconstitution, under sterile conditions, store at 2~8°C, valid for 7 days. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -85 to -65°C under sterile conditions for up to 3 months.
