APOBEC3A is a single-domain cytidine deaminase with antiviral activity. It is a member of the APOBEC3 gene family that deaminates cytidine to uridine, enabling specific detection of DNA methylation levels. This product is recombinantly expressed in E. coli and is suitable for bisulfite-free 5-hydroxymethylcytosine whole-genome sequencing (such as ACE-Seq), cytidine deamination, enzyme kinetics, inhibitor screening, and selectivity analysis.
