This kit contains Recombinant Human M-CSF, Human IFN-gamma, and Human IL-4. It is designed for the differentiation of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) into M1 or M2 macrophages.
M-CSF: Used for the differentiation of CD14+ monocytes into unactivated M0 macrophages.
IFN-γ: Initiates M1 polarization by activating the STAT1 signaling pathway. It induces pro-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and anti-tumor macrophages.
IL-4 and IL-13: Induce M2 polarization. They generate anti-inflammatory macrophages involved in tissue repair, fibrosis, and tumor promotion.

Storage: Store at -85°C to -65°C. Valid for 1 year from the date of receipt.

Centrifuge the vial prior to opening to collect contents at the bottom. Reconstitute with sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. For subsequent experiments, further dilutions can be made. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA) to the dilution buffer. Aliquot into single-use volumes, store at -80°C, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
