Mouse Serum Albumin (MSA) is a globulin found in mouse serum and is one of its main components. Serum albumin primarily functions to maintain osmotic pressure, buffer pH, act as a carrier, and provide nutritional support. In serum-free animal cell culture, the addition of albumin offers physiological and mechanical protection as well as carrier functions.

Product Features
The MSA product provided by Yeasen is prepared from normal, healthy mouse serum using the heat-shock method. It meets the needs of most routine experiments, such as serving as a standard for protein quantification or as a control in immunological studies.

Store at 2–8 °C. Shelf life: 5 years.
