This kit is designed for the isolation and purification of high-quality total RNA from a wide variety of sample types, including animal tissues (heart, liver, spleen, lung, muscle, fat, brain, etc.), cells, common plants, and polysaccharide‑ and polyphenol‑rich plant samples. A unique magnetic bead system combined with a carefully optimized buffer formulation efficiently captures the released nucleic acids, yielding RNA of high purity with minimal carry‑over of genomic DNA, protein and other impurities. The purified RNA is suitable for a broad range of downstream applications such as RT-PCR, real-time PCR, microarray analysis, Northern blot, dot blot, poly(A) selection, in vitro translation, RNase protection assay, and molecular cloning. The kit is fully compatible with YEASEN automated nucleic acid extraction instruments and the Thermo Scientific KingFisher Flex 96 and comparable systems. YEASEN offers integrated solutions for high‑throughput automated nucleic acid extraction.

Notes

1. If precipitation or turbidity appears in any reagent (common when stored at low ambient temperatures), warm to 30 °C and mix until fully dissolved.

2. Magnetic beads may carry over into the eluate. Avoid aspirating magnetic beads when transferring eluted RNA.

3. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of frozen samples, as this may compromise nucleic acid quality.

4. For your safety and health, wear a lab coat and disposable gloves when handling this product.

5. Several buffers contain guanidinium salts. Do NOT mix with oxidizing disinfectants such as sodium hypochlorite; toxic gas may form. Dispose of all kit‑related waste in accordance with local institutional regulations for biohazardous waste.

Storage

Part I components should be stored at -25 to -15°C for 18 months.

Part II components should be stored at 2 to 8°C for 18 months.

Part III components should be stored at room temperature for 18 months.
