Recombinant Human Fibronectin,rFN —Promote cell growth and adhere to matrix proteins

Fibronectin (FN) is an extracellular glycoprotein that exists in soluble form in body fluids or in insoluble form in the extracellular matrix. As one of the main cell adhesion molecules, FN plays a key role in many important physiological processes, such as embryogenesis, wound healing, hemostasis and thrombosis. In cell culture, fibronectin (FN) can be used as a cell culture matrix to promote cell growth, increase cell adhesion rate, enhance cell metabolism, shorten cell growth time, and increase hybridoma cell fusion rate.

Recombinant human fibronectin (rFN) developed by YEASEN using genetic recombination technology exists in monomeric form with a molecular weight of approximately 210 kDa. It can be used as a cell culture matrix to increase cell adhesion rate, enhance cell metabolism, and shorten cell growth cycle in cell culture. In addition, it can also be directly added to the culture medium to replace or reduce the amount of serum used, promote cell adhesion, migration, mobile growth, and maintain cell status.

Product Features:

  1. High purity: ≥95%, determined by SDS-PAGE
  2. Freeze-dried powder: easy to store
  3. Plant-derived,:no animal origin, safer
  4. Low endotoxin: can be used directly for cell culture

Experimental Procedure:

  1. Use PBS to prepare 50-100ug/mL concentration of coating working solution
  2. Add to the culture medium to cover the bottom of the plate, coat overnight at 4°C or for 1 hour at 37°C
  3. Recover the coating working solution (can be used again within one week) and perform cell inoculation and culture

Preparation of recombinant human fibronectin:

Dissolve recombinant human fibronectin (rFN) in 1×PBS to prepare a storage solution with a concentration of 1 mg/mL. Store at -20°C in aliquots according to single-use doses to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. It is effective for 3-6 months.

FAQ:

1.How much working solution should be used to coat different cell culture plates/dishes?

A:Refer to the table below for use

2.Can this product be used in rat and mouse cell culture?

A:This product can be used for cell culture of rats and mice. For specific usage and concentration, please refer to relevant literature.

3.What is the difference between recombinant human fibronectin and natural one?

A:Recombinant human fibronectin is derived from plant-derived recombinant purification. Compared with natural human fibronectin, it has higher purity, no animal-derived contamination, and controllable ingredients. Both can be used as cell culture matrix, and you can choose according to your own experimental needs.
