Recombinant Human Glypican 1/GPC1 Protein is expressed from HEK293 Cells with His tag at the C-terminal. It contains Asp24-Ser530.

Molecular Weight

The protein has a predicted MW of 57.17 kDa. And it migrates as 60-72 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

Purity

> 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Biological Activity

Human FGF-2 immobilized on CM5 chip can bind human GPC1, His tag, with an affinity constant of 5.83 × 10^-9 M as determined in a SPR assay (Biacore 8K).

Formulation

Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered concentrated solution in PBS.

Reconstitution

Centrifuge tubes before opening. Dissolve lyophilized protein with PBS. Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities when first used and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
