Frequently Bought Together
This aluminum cooling block is designed for laboratory workflows involving nucleic acids, proteins, and enzymes, where samples and reagents must be kept cold to prevent degradation from temperature fluctuations. Once pre-chilled, the block cools tubes rapidly and holds a stable low temperature, keeping samples protected throughout the bench work and improving experimental efficiency. It holds 32 × 0.2 mL and 16 × 1.5 mL tubes, and its conical-bottom wells fit the tubes closely for efficient heat transfer.
Features
Constructed from aluminum alloy, it facilitates efficient heat conduction. Its electrophoresis-treated surface adds to its durability.
Individually packaged, it offers prolonged low-temperature maintenance and versatile compatibility with PCR tubes and centrifuge tubes. Additionally, it prevents sample tubes from tilting or popping out, ensuring consistent low temperatures.
Resistant to high pressure, ultraviolet radiation, and ethanol disinfection, this product is reusable, easy to clean, and resistant to aging.
When frozen, it retains low temperatures (approximately 1 to 2 hours) even at room temperature. Placing it on crushed ice cools PCR/centrifuge tubes rapidly without direct contact, effectively preventing contamination of the reaction solution.
The product dimensions are 118mm x 87mm x 20mm.
Instructions
Chill the plate in a refrigerator (-25°C to -15°C) for 4 to 6 hours before use.
Place the centrifuge tube, reaction solution, or sample inside the chilled plate to maintain low temperatures for 1 to 2 hours.
Precautions
Prioritize safety and hygiene by wearing a lab coat and disposable gloves.
