描述
IL-1 α 和 IL-1 β 是强效促炎细胞因子，可诱导不同细胞类型的多种生物活性。已从人类和小鼠细胞中鉴定和克隆了两种不同类型的 IL-1 受体。IL-1 受体 I 型是一种 80 kDa 跨膜蛋白，具有已证实的 IL-1 信号传导功能，而 IL-1 受体 II 型是一种 68 kDa 膜蛋白，具有相对较短的胞质尾部且没有信号传导功能。II 型受体充当 IL-1 的诱饵靶标，通过阻止 IL-1 与 I 型受体结合来抑制 IL-1 活性。II 型受体的可溶性版本由抗炎剂（例如糖皮质激素、IL-4 和 IL-13）诱导。
