Source

Recombinant Biotinylated Human GPC3/Glypican 3 Protein is expressed from HEK293 Cells with His tag and Avi tag at the C-terminal. It contains Gln25-His559.

Molecular Weight

The protein has a predicted MW of 63.6 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 42 kDa, 80-135 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.

Purity

> 90% as determined by Tris-Bis PAGE

Endotoxin

< 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.

Formulation

Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 5% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Reconstitution

Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL` is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

Storage

The products are shipped with ice pack and can be stored at -20℃ for 1 year.

2-7 days, 2 to 8 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 -6 months, -20 to -80°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.

Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
